  • School-Linked Services

    School-Linked Services

School-Linked Services utilize a multi-disciplinary approach to health care in order to promote the health and well-being of youth. Students who are unhealthy are less likely to be able to learn or succeed in school. By offering free medical, mental health, health education and youth development services on school grounds, the SLS focus on prevention and early identification of risk factors aims to reduce barriers to learning and to support families and our community.

  • DreamCatcher Homeless Youth Services

    DreamCatcher

Since 2000, DreamCatcher Youth Services has been the only safe landing for homeless and disconnected at risk youth in Alameda County who are between the ages of 13-18. Over 90% who have been through DreamCatcher have moved directly into stable housing, further education or employment.

Our youth exit to greater safety and go on to futures they didn’t have the energy to imagine when they first came to us. Over a third of our staff are graduates of our program who returned as adults wanting to give back for all they received, for the ways their lives changed.

    Family Support Services

Located in the West End in the Alameda Housing Authority's Esperanza Community Room at 1903 Third Street, the goal of Family Support Services is to provide families with supportive services via case management, parenting classes, and other services based on family needs. The Drop-In Support program allows individuals and families to meet one-on-one with a case manager to assess their needs and support sustainable service linkages. In partnership with Mastick Senior Center, a Senior Case Manager works specifically with older adults. The Family Support Center hosts the only Covered California Certified Enrollment Counselors in the City of Alameda.
