Head Start and
Early Head Start
Classrooms

Alameda Family Services continues to take responsible actions to protect the health and wellness of our staff, clients and communities. In order to reduce risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus we have adjusted to providing many services remotely although as case counts have improved, we have been able to reopen some programs.

Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms reopened in October of 2020 at lower capacity, in compliance with Office of Head Start requirements, but we continue to offer counseling and case management services to clients and families via confidential Telehealth (video-conferencing) or phone.

Alameda Family Services will continue to actively monitor the current environment for coronavirus-related risks and will operate according to guidelines from the City and County of Alameda, State of California, Federal Government, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

We are committed to supporting the City and County of Alameda. Please contact our office at (510) 629-6300 or email info@alamedafs.org with any concerns or questions.

Please continue to check our website for news and updates about COVID-19 and our services.
