DreamCatcher is in the process of renovating and moving into the building adjacent to its current location, which will improve the facility and will add a 6-bed residential program for CSEC females with supporting services including an onsite school.

The purchase of the building was made possible by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors; the cost of the renovations is made possible through a rehabilitation loan from the State of California Emergency Housing and Assistance Program Capital Development (EHAPCD) and in-kind support from HomeAid Northern California.  HomeAid Northern California has provided both project oversight and technical services through Ron Jones of Hunt, Hale, Jones Architects and project management through Balfour Beatty.

The angels who have supported us steadfastly through the renovations include Alex Briscoe, Alameda County Health Care Services Agency; Cheryl O’Connor, Executive Director, HomeAid Northern Californa; Richard Walker, XL Construction; Jim Cardin, Balfour Beatty.
